Trame di Luce
For Trame di Luce in Rome and Monza, Light Art Collection teamed up with BEIT Events to develop two different trailblazing light art experiences. They were set against a backdrop of two beautiful locations: the botanical garden in Rome and Gardens of the Villa Reale in Monza. The artworks from our collection added a contemporary layer to the historical sites, thereby attracting a lot of new audiences.
By collaborating with our local partner, Trame di Luce gave us the opportunity to create immersive experiences at the intersection of storytelling, soundscape and light art. Whereas some festivals enable visitors to enjoy every light art work individually, we created an overarching storyline for Trame di Luce. Visitors followed a trail in which every light art work formed the next mesmerizing step in the experience. Here, everything that we pride ourselves on doing came together.
Both historical sites asked for thorough research with respect to its surroundings, which we were glad to take on. Trame di Luce takes the idea of the original function of the garden as a place where prominent guests were invited to stroll around and enjoy music and poetry. Fast forward to now: Light Art Collection contributed two light art events that are accessible and inclusive for everyone by bridging the past with the future, through light art.
How to create an innovative, public-friendly experience that does right to the history of the sites? The answer is simple: by blending storytelling, audio and light art. Our curation and outstanding collection combined with the specific site and local partner created endless possibilities for new stories waiting to be unlocked. This makes the interdisciplinary immersive journeys of Trame di Luce one to remember.
