HALO
HALO directly refers to the sun as our greatest source of light and warmth that shapes the conditions for life on our planet. An actual halo is an optical phenomenon produced by light interacting with crystals in the atmosphere. On a supernatural and cultural level, the halo has a universal place in emphasizing the sacred being.
Venividimultiplex’ installation interacts with its surroundings in all these ways. Its presence will lift her visitors up for precious moments and let them universally dream of an abstract yet comprehensive experience with a dynamic light sequence that reaches its climax when the installation is fully lit.
About the artist
Joost van Bergen, Dirk Schlebusch and Onne Walsmit met during their studies at the Academy of Architecture Amsterdam. Since 2012, they have been working together as Venividimultiplex, with the tagline ‘Let’s make things epic’. The design studio has worked on a range of projects in the fields of architecture, interior and conceptual design. With their interdisciplinary and interactive installations, Venividimultiplex always attempts to push the boundaries.
