EXPO 2020
In a world full of events, the World Expo is the biggest of them all—and the 2020 edition held in Dubai was one of the most epic in the Expo’s 170-year history. We are proud to have helped EXPO 2020 shine even brighter as part of Kaleidoscope, an outdoor festival of light art installations popping up in multiple locations over the six-month duration of the Expo.
Housing 192 country pavilions spread out over three sprawling districts, Dubai’s city-within-a-city built especially for EXPO 2022 was a modern marvel in itself. We provided a curated selection of artworks from our collection that were strategically placed to enhance the dynamic, future-forward character of the Expo. Our pieces also helped create a vibrant atmosphere between the country pavilions, especially at night.
We’re used to bringing our light art pieces to the world, but this time, with 24 million visitors from 192 countries over 182 days, the world came to us. We invite you to take a virtual tour of Kaleidoscope at EXPO 2020 in the video below—and start looking forward to EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Japan, just like we are.
