New Touring Exhibition Launches Summer 2025

Art in the Night Garden is a new touring light art experience created for castle gardens, city parks, and botanic gardens. The show features a selection of illuminated artworks by some of the world’s leading light artists and collectives working today, and is curated by us in partnership with leading illuminated trail producers, Culture Creative.

Art in the Night Garden is designed for long summer nights, enabling outdoor venues to benefit from the night-time economy, and offering visitors the chance to enjoy extended opening hours, explore stunning natural landscapes after dark, and be immersed in extraordinary light art.

For visitors, the experience is similar to being in an open-air gallery. Instead of indoor white-walled spaces, there are tree shadows, dazzling light artworks, dark skies, and gentle lighting that guides the way. This is enriched by ambient or live music, and the natural sounds of the surroundings: branches swaying in the summer breeze and birds filling the night air with song.

Zoe Bottrell, Managing Director of Culture Creative, said:

"We are delighted to be working in partnership with Light Art Collection to create a new outdoor touring show for the summer. We have regularly used artworks from their collection for our Christmas and Lightscape trails and truly value the quality of the artists they represent."

Albert Deltour, Managing Director of Light Art Collection, said:

"It is a privilege to introduce Art in the Night Garden to the market in close collaboration with the Culture Creative team. Drawing from our unique collection, we’ve delivered light art projects and festivals across all continents. With Art in the Night Garden, we’ve brought together our global experience with that of Culture Creative to create a unique, refreshing, and innovative summer experience."

Available for Hire – Summer 2025

This outdoor touring show is available to hire for summer 2025. It is a self-guided experience, however it can also be tailored to the visitor, with the option to add secondary spend, catering and retail to each offer. The show is curated and bespoke to each venue. It includes between six and seven individual artworks, complemented by lighting treatments to improve wayfinding and illuminate the existing landscape.

Disruption during the preparations of Art in the Night Garden is kept to a minimum. Therefore, the venue should be able to remain open whilst installation or de- installation takes place.
