Schiphol Illuminates with three Light Art Installations
This winter, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is brightening up the darker days with an inspiring display of Light Art. From December 2nd, visitors and employees can experience three mesmerizing light art installations in Schiphol Central Business District (CBD). These captivating pieces, part of our Light Art Collection, are presented through a collaboration between Schiphol Real Estate and Spot.

Location: Schiphol Boulevard, WTC Schiphol Airport entrance
Talking Heads – Viktor Vicsek (HU)
Location: The Square
Two Lamps – Jeroen Henneman (NL)

Schiphol’s Spot initiative aims to create a welcoming and inspiring environment. From vibrant street art to summer pop-up parks, these surprises enhance the experience of working and traveling through Schiphol. This winter’s light art installations continue this tradition, providing moments of beauty, reflection, and inspiration amid the busy airport atmosphere.
To make the season even cozier, Schiphol is offering free Dutch oliebollen and warm drinks every Thursday starting December 12th. Stop by the food truck at The Square with your Spot pass to enjoy a delicious treat and connect with colleagues.
This radiant winter experience at Schiphol is not just a feast for the eyes but also a reminder of the warmth and connection we can find during the colder months. Be sure to visit and let the light art installations brighten your day!
