Wilhelmusvlug's In Bloom is a celebration of blooming and of how important flowers are to so many rituals around the world. Like cherry blossom swept up in the wind, the colourful swirl of petals dances in the eternal circle of life and reminds us to appreciate the fleeting moments of beauty all around us. The petals mark the moments of celebration, love and loss in the life journeys we each embark on. In Bloom is an ode to the beauty and fragility of life itself, and a blooming oasis in the winter night.

About the artist
Wilhelmusvlug (NL) is a contemporary artist. He studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and has been active in many different art disciplines. For the last 15 year his main focus had been monumental light art and video art installations. Wilhelmusvlug lives and works in the countryside just north of Amsterdam.
