Inspired by traditional oil lamps that are central to the Indian festival of lights, Diwali, Vibhor Sogani's artwork features a mesmerizing sea of flickering lights.

In Indian culture, the lighting of a lamp is a powerful symbol of the triumph of good over evil. Where darkness exists, light brings hope and renewal. It is believed to bring prosperity and positivity in and around us. Crafted from polished metal these floating lanterns, with their warm, golden tones, dance with the flames to dispel forces that seek to overshadow us. Deepam, the light celebrates the timeless beauty of this ancient ritual, inviting viewers to partake in the spirit of Diwali and share its universal message of light and hope.
